Hey ladies!

When I first started BodyRock Sport, my primary goal was to target fitness-crazed fashionistas like myself trying to bridge the gap between fitness and fashion. I started out with four styles of sexy, fun, yet functional sports bras to test out my market. I quickly learned that the best sellers were the funkiest styles!

I'd like to talk to you about the incredibly cool new collection, which really and truly reflects the philosophy of BodyRock Sport--which is to enable women to look good and feel good 24/7 be providing them with fabulous gear that combines fitness, fashion, and functionality.

I am not the kind of girl who could ever commit to a tattoo. It's not that I don't like
them, it's just that I have a compulsive need to express myself and I changed my
mind a lot. As such, I monogram, charm and bedazzle as much as possible and
am constantly looking for ways to customize everything I own. Enter: BodyRock
- dream come true. There are so many studded and spangled styles, the
opportunity for self-expression is almost overwhelming. Almost.

 Every morning I consider the options as I prep for my work out and my day. Am I
feeling gritty, yet pretty and need hot pink crystals and camo? Do I feel lithe and
tough and go zip-front black with gold studs? Is it an animal print sort of day?
Or, better yet, a turquoise or magenta cheetah sort of day? There is no wrong
choice! The edgy assortment in the BodyRock collection features enough options
to express any mood or whim I might have.

August has been an amazing month for BodyRock Sport. We kicked off the month with the CURVExpo NYC 2010 show. Along with our BodyRock Sport fashion booth, the show featured many other categories, including international lingerie, shapewear, underwear and swimwear brands.

When Denise Teti (July's BodyRocker) asked me to meet with Kelly Dooley to discuss creating the world's most expensive sports bra, I was a little apprehensive. However, the moment the incredibly talented super pink lipped Ms. Dooley walked in my door I was in love with her passion, her vision and her smoking physic. Beauty always inspires me! My grandmother always said every woman is beautiful she just needs the right accessory. And let's be honest--the right bra is the first accessory that makes a woman feel confident and makes us boys go wild!

Many of you are probably wondering why I on earth I decided to create an $1,800 sports bra that has an attached necklace "with emblematic charms [that] speak volumes about you character -- pious (with a taste for the finer things), a little dangerous (but in a good wayand romantic (but not desperate)," as Ashley Neglia wrote in her article called "World's Most Expensive Sports Bra" on www.thatsfit.com.

How I met the founder: When I was sititng on a plane heading to Orange County, CA, for a business trip in February, I noticed the woman sitting next to me was wearing an blinged out hoodie, and I remember thinking, "I've got to get this girl in BodyRock. After falling asleep on each other's shoulders (literally), we started talking. She asked if I was a designer, so I told her about BodyRock, and Dr. Tracy said, "omg, I am the founder of the W.I.N. Foundation and organize pageants worldwide to help raise money for abused women and children. We've been wanting to integrate fitness into our pageants, but we have never found a fitness brand that we like." I told her to check out my site and she did. The next day, she had her executive director, Suzanne Navarro, meet me the next day while I was having a trunk show at Equinox Newport Beach and having an interview with The Orange Country Register." After talking to Suzanne, I decided to sponsor the Ms. US Globe Pageant, which was held in at the Westin in Rancho Mirage, CA. The first event that I participated in was the green luncheon, which simply meant that we all had to wear green cocktail attire." The luncheon was very inspiring. The pageant, unlike many others, actually has purpose. The pageant is much more about how you look. It's about enabling women to share their dreams and empowering them to go out and make a difference in the world. Here is a snapshot of some of the awards that the contestants received:
